… Great Ogboru promises to release N200M each to the 25 LGAs monthly
Ahead of the 2023 Governorship Election in Delta State , All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Governorship
Candidate Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru
has inaugurated the party’s Campaign council.
The event which took place at Asaba ,headquarters of Delta State attracted APGA Candidates vying for various political positions to include Mr Peter Omaruaye, George Timinimi, Silas Bouwe, Isiomah Ndah and Eivis Ayomanor to the campaign council inauguaration.
Chief Great Ogboru while reeling out his manifesto said if elected as the next Governor of Delta State he would ensure all round development of the State And introduced Social Security and Welfare Programmes .
He emphasized on what he titled the jubilee agenda which encapsulates the party’s seven point Jubilee programme which focuses on reforms and development in education, housing, agriculture, environment and youth development.
Chief Ogboru said over the years Local Government Area have been under Developed stressing that if elected he would give 200 Million Naira monthly to each of the 25 Local Government Areas in the State which will translate to 5 Billion Naira monthly on a state wide basis.
On education , Chief Ogboru said APGA government would declare
Free and functional education at primary and secondary schools level , Rehabilitate all primary and secondary schools, 50% reduction of Tuition Fees for students of Delta state origin as Bursary in state owned institutions and Bursary for students of Delta state origin in Nigerian higher institutions.
APGA Governorship candidate disclosed that the Jubilee Agenda seeks to generate employment , empower the youth, eradicate poverty and improve the well-being of all Deltans so that they can reach their full potentials towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

Okotie-Eboh , Director-General ,Chief Wilson Okpubigho, Secretary Comrade Chidi Okonji and the Director Women Affairs and others members of the APGA campaign council , appointees as well as co- ordinators from the 25 council areas were inaugurated .
The chairman of Delta State APGA campaign council Prince Emmanuel Okotie-Eboh who spoke shortly after the inauguration of the body said he would partner with other members of the campaign council to ensure the victory of the party come 2023.
The state chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance Mr Enemokwu Afamefune said with the inauguration of the campaign council all hands must be on deck to actualize the dream of electing Great Ogboru come 2023.
Some speakers at the event highlighted issues that could move the state forward, stressing that Chief Great Ogboru if given the opportunity to become the next Governor would drive the social economic development of the State.
They advised on the need to change the narrative by ensuring that the PVC remains the weapon to decide the 2023 election.
They further disclosed that APGA aims to reorganise and reenergise Delta state where compassionate government policies will lead to social justice and social development .
