Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government,Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike has pledged to support last rainy season’s flood victims in the area, acknowledging their challenges and affirming government’s commitment to their well-being.

He made the remark at a ceremony to present relief materials to flood affected communities of Ewulu, Isheagu, and Olodu in Aniocha South local government area.
Pastor Chukwunwike commended the people’s resilience and conveyed the Governor’s message of hope and solidarity to the victims, their families, and riverine residents. He encouraged the people to remain law-abiding, adding that the “2025 Budget of Empowerment”, once passed into law, would usher in transformative programmes that will drive economic progress and youth employment.
The council boss underscored the importance of peace in his administration, urging everyone to rally round Governor Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda and prioritize unity, inclusive growth, and collective prosperity.
The council vice chairman, Hon. Ms. Patricia Adolue Ekwutoziam, Council Scribe, Hon. Prince Tony K Ebube and other government officials attended the ceremony, where essential items such as rice, soap, detergent, and others were distributed.
