The presentation of party flag to the PDP Uvwie chairmanship candidate,chief Ofoni was performed by the state chairman of the party,Olorogun Kingsley Esiso flanked by party chieftains in Uvwie led by their Honourable Solomon Ighrakpata.
Olorogun Kingsley Esiso noted that the party’s chairmanship candidate who emerged from the primaries is capable to fly the PDP flag come July Thirteen local government elections.
He urged Deltans as well as PDP supporters not to relent in their support of Sheriff Oborevwori led administration.
The PDP Uvwie chairmanship candidate, chief Anthony Ofoni appealed to the people of uvwie local government area to come out en-masse and vote for him and all the party’s councillorship candidates on the day of the election
Earlier,the chairman of PDP in Uvwie local government area,Elder Efe Okoledo appealed to all residents of Uvwie and party members to vote for all the candidates of the party in the July Thirteen local government elections.
A chieftain of the party in Uvwie, chief Francis Arhiyor and the immediate past chairman of Uvwie local Government council,chief Onoyake noted that the chairmanship candidate and his Vice are well tested and trusted to take Uvwie to greater heights.
The campaign for the election of the party’s candidates continues into the Wards in Uvwie local government area.
Party leaders from the various wards, including Director General Uvwie PDP Campaign Council Edmond Ofudje his Deputy Director General Chief Rose Oghene amongst others also appealed for votes to enable the party win the forthcoming Local government elections .
