A Fifteen Man Ubeji Community Trust Executive Headed by Engr.Mayomi Mone has been inaugurated for a four year tenure.
The ceremony which was conducted and supervised by the Olaraja of Ubeji Community chief Dudu Akoma and members of the Ubeji Elders council witnessed the handing over affairs of Ubeji Community Trust from its immediate past Chairman Ambassador Godwin Mone to the newly inaugurated Ubeji Community Trust Chairman Engr. Mayomi Mone
Residents of Ubeji Community in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State trooped out Friday to witness the inauguration of Mayomi Mone led Ubeji Community Trust Executive.
Mone and other members of Ubeji Community Executive took the oath of office which was closely followed by other formalities including the handing over of community documents from their predecessor Ambassador Godwin Mone.
In his inaugural speech newly inaugurated Chairman of Ubeji Community Trust Engr. Mayomi Mone promised to enhance security, education, infrastructures and the overall health of Ubeji residents.
Mone equally pledged to be transparent and work for the interest of residents even as he appealed to the Ubeji Community to assist the executive to serve the people better.
He also assured that he would complement the effort of his predecessor in moving Ubeji Community to the next level.
Earlier the immediate past Chairman of Ubeji Community Trust Ambassador Godwin Mone reeled out some of the achievements of his executive and called on residents of Ubeji Community to give the same level of support to the newly inaugurated Ubeji Community Executive.
The Executive later organized a reception to appreciate invited guests.
Olaraja of Ubeji Community chief Dudu Akoma while addressing those present stated that the tenure of the inaugurated Ubeji Community Executive is now four years as against the Former three years tenure.
He urged the newly inaugurated executive to work together in ensuring more development in the community.
Chief Akoma also urged the newly inaugurated chairman of Ubeji Community trust to carry everyone along and operate an open door policy .
