Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, says the conferment of an award of Doctor of Public Administration ( Honoris Causa) on the immediate past Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan by the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN, speaks volume, particularly as regards Dr. Uduaghan’s contributions to the development of the ivory tower. in a statement Saturday March 25, opined that the donation of Sociology Department building to UNN in honour of an illustrious Deltan and first Students’ Union Government President of UNN, late Professor B. I. C. Ijomah, whilst he was governor of Delta state, attests to Dr. Uduaghan’s love for educational and human capital developments.
The Warri South Local Government Chief Executive, who applauded the management of University of Nigeria, Nsukka for bestowing the former Delta State Governor with the prestigious honour, posited that younger persons in Warri South Local Government Area, will continually emulate Dr. Uduaghan’s quest for administrative and career excellence as well as peace – building lifestyle.
