Warri South local Government chairman Dr Michael Tidi on Saturday lamented the late arrival of voting materials at Edjeba community , warri South local Government Area of Delta state .
Dr Tidi said INEC Electoral officer attributing the delay to logistics problem is not accepted and suspected that they have compromised with the opposition party in the state to delay the voting materials in PDP Stronghold .
“We are disappointed with INEC because they have plans to disenfranchise our people especially members of PDP ‘ he said .
Dr Tidi was speaking shortly after casting his vote at about 4pm at Edjeba community .
Some voters in Edjeba community said although voting materials arrived at about 4pm they are going to cast their votes as they had been waiting since 7am .
Other electorates in Warri lamented the lapses observed in the Presidential, Senatorial and House of Representatives Elections and urged INEC to ensure that March 11 election would be better that the February 25th Election .

Eligible voters in Warri South Local Government Area on Saturday trooped out in their numbers to exercise their franchise in the Presidential and National Assembly Elections.
www. actualnewsng. com reports that election was held at some polling units in Warri ,headquarters of Warri South Local Government Area inspite of the late arrival of materials which almost marred the exercise.
Earlier As at 8:30am a large crowd of people were seen at INEC premises in Warri South Local Government Area including adhoc staff waiting for materials with heavy presence of security agents.
The INEC Electoral Officer Warri South LGA, Mr Kingsley Ogboe said they are distributing sensitive materials ward by ward in inorder of proximity attributing the delay in distribution to logistics challenges.

At Nana College Warri as at 3:45 pm voters were waiting for voting materials as some of the voters were singing and dancing that they must vote .
However, at unit three the voters said they have voted inspite of the late arrival of materials.
Some other areas visited Including Giwa Amu, Bazunu, Ikengbuwa Primary School, Warri among others the story was the same.
Meanwhile Actual News gathered that
the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the extension period of voting for the Presidential and National Assembly elections to Sunday, 26th February 2023.
According to INEC, this was necessitated due to the level violence experienced and ‘tactical disenfranchisement’ (late arrival of election materials) in some areas.
The affected areas/states where the election process would continue are:
Lagos: Surulere, Ikate, Okota, Eti-Osa, Kosofe and Oshodi.,FCT.
,Ebonyi. Rivers, Imo, Anambra,Kano,Edo
Delta, Kogi, Bayelsa. Enugu, Sokoto., Taraba, Abia. and Ekiti.
Voting in the affected areas will resume by 8am till 12pm on the 26th February 2023.
Therefore, it advised that staff and stakeholders continue to adhere to all Government/INEC directives and security advisories concerning this election.
