—NUT commends his visionary leadership

Aniocha South Executive Council Chairman, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike , has reaffirmed his commitment to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for teachers, pupils, and students across the local government.
He praised teachers for their dedication and resilience, acknowledging the profound impact they have on shaping the future of society. Pastor Chukwunwike said that teachers play a vital role in nurturing future generations and that their rewards are immeasurable.
The chairman made these remarks while hosting Comrade Titus Okotie who led the state leadership of NUT, and Comrade Kentoa Alex, along with the Aniocha South branch executives, in his office.
“As someone who hails from a family of teachers, I deeply understand the significance of your role in shaping the society of tomorrow. You are the catalysts for positive change, and I encourage you to see yourselves as change agents inspiring a brighter future,” Chukwunwike stated.
He reassured the teachers of his unwavering commitment to creating a future that everyone can be proud of.
The council boss also took the opportunity to commend Comrade Okotie for his tireless efforts in advocating for the welfare of teachers at strategic state meetings.
Earlier, Comrade Okotie expressed appreciation for the council boss’s impressive performance and his commitment to supporting the teachers’ union since assuming office. They sought the council’s support in securing land for a befitting NUT Secretariat, highlighting the importance of their collaborative partnership.
The event was marked by the presentation of a plaque to the chairman, recognizing his outstanding leadership and vision in Aniocha South. Hon. Ms. Ekwutozam Patricia Adolue , council vice chairman, and Hon. Prince Tony K Ebube , secretary of the council, were in attendance, along with other government functionaries.
