The Head of Department ( HOD ) Software Engineering, Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro , Dr Odafe John Atajeromavwo has stated that the jubilation of Deltans over the Supreme Court victory of Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori was an affirmation of the popularity of the governor among Deltans.
The university don stated this in an exclusive media chat with our correspondent on the Supreme Court victory in Effurun at the weekend.
Atajeromavwo who was a former Deputy Rector of Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi – Uku noted that the jubilation of Governor Oborevwori’s Supreme Court victory cut across Delta State as he also noted that Deltans in abroad celebrated the victory in their various goodwill messages posted on the social media.
” Reports from the media indicated that different campuses in Delta State universities , Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun ( FUPRE ) , Petroleum Training Institute ( PTI) Effurun and other higher institution including communities and social clubs celebrated the victory
” This is an affirmation that Governor Oborevwori is truly popular among Deltans.
” It is good to emulate what is good . I also join other well meaning Deltans to felicitate with Governor Oborevwori on his Supreme Court victory.”
The renowned computer scientist added that he celebrated the victory the more because according to him , the victory was a beacon of hope of good things to Delta State.
