The New Management Committee of St Clavers College ,SPCC Aghalokpe has been enjoined to Surpass the Achievements of the pioneer Management Committee inorder to take the school to a greater height .
The Pioneer Chairman of SPCC class of 82 ,Chief Efe Afe made the statement during the 40th Anniversary of Class of 82 held in Effurun , Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State .
The pioneer Chairman of the management committee of SPCC class of 82,Chief Efe Afe said the celebration of the 40th Anniversary was aimed at restoring SPCC to an enviable height it attained in the good old days .
Chief Afe thanked God that 40 years ago most of them who were teenagers have become captains of industry following the training they received at
St Peter Clavers College Aghalokpe .
The Federal lawmaker disclosed that the group had earlier built a state -of-the-art computer centre for SPCC which was commissioned by the Orodje of Okpe kingdom as one of its achievement during his tenure .
” I thank God that 40 years ago we were boys but today we are captains of industry this is because of the training we got from SPCC , our school doesn’t have perimeter fence then but no student dare to leave the school premises without permission ,the reason is discipline” he stated .
The newly inaugurated chairman of the management committee chief Abraham Odjighoro in his acceptance speech shortly after he was elected along side his Exco members pledged that the team would surpass the achievement of the former executive and solicited for support from members to succeed .
Those that were elected with the new chairman chief Odjighoro are the vice chairman Etireri Martin , secretary
Okiti Adogbeji , Publicity Secretary Facah Esimiejuya,
Diaspora Representative
Oghenedoro Harry Boje,
Others are Treasurer, Obaro Osah, Financial Secretary ,Joseph Benson and Welfare officer Nicholas Akpotohwo, as well as the Ex-officio

The class of 82 later presented Awards of excellence to two popular Retired teachers of the school ,Mr Augustine Agbatutu and Mr Emmanuel Ivwighregweta .
Others are retired Air vice marshal Peter Ubrufih, Air vice Marshal Charles Owho, Charles Ajuyah SAN, Prof Onome Ogueh , Chief Efe Afe , Prof. Victor Jike, Chief Abraham Odjighoro and Mr Emmanuel Audu-Ohwavborua Acting MD NDDC .
Earlier SPCC class of 82 also donated sports items and cartoons of notebooks to students of the school.
The 40th Anniversary of Class of 82 featured Career Talk and quiz competition between St Endas Grammer school , St Ambrose college and St Peter clavers college as St Peter Clavers College took the first position .
The event also featured Novelty Football match between Class of 82 and Students of SPCC .
At the end of the match class of 82 won SPCC students four goals to one
