Residents of Edjeba community in Warri south local Government Area of Delta State on Saturday took part in the monthly environmental sanitation.
Members of Rotary Club of Edjeba were on ground to evacuate waste gathered during the special sanitation tagged water and sanitation project in Edjeba community.

As early as 7 am on Saturday Residents of Edjeba came out to clear their environment awaiting waste Disposal truck organized by Rotary Club of Edjeba to help evacuate their waste

said they are happy that Rotary club of Edjeba provided the waste disposal truck to enable them clear off their waste, stressing that they find it difficult to dispose their wastes after clearing it.
According to the Youth president, Rotary club of Edjeba have assisted the community in different ways including disposing wastes,providing computers for Edjeba secondary school,providing items for expectant mothers amongst others .
The President Rotary Club of Edjeba Rotarian Sunny Oveisi disclosed that keeping the environment clean is one of the 7 areas of focus of Rotary International.
He disclosed that it is the third time the club is carrying out the water and sanitation project in Edjeba community.
Rotarian Oveisi advised residents of the community to make cleaning a daily habit inorder to prevent sickness caused by dirty environment.
A member of the club , Rotarian Benjamin Agajelu and the president of Rotary Club of Bendel Estate Rtn Stellamaris Duru who also participated in the cleaning exercise appealed to residents of Edjeba community to always continue to keep their environment clean .
They commended the residents of Edjeba for participating fully during the sanitation.
