As part of activities in Preparation for 2024/2025 Rotary year, Rotary International District 9141 on Saturday Organized club officers learning seminar across the district.
Declaring the club officers learning seminar opened, the District Governor-elect,Rotarian Chinedu Ikegwuani noted that the seminar by the district was to bridge the knowledge gaps and unveil new strategic approaches as well as arming Rotarians with Rotary International requirements in meetings it’s goals encapsulated in Rotary International areas of focus.
Our correspondent report that the training featured various lectures ranging from membership retention, maximization of various technology tools in meeting Rotary’s goals.
The club officers training seminar of Rotary District 9141 was held simultaneously across the various zones in District 9141
The seminar which was also held at Osubi ,Okpe local Government Area of Delta state for zones, 4, 5, 6,7, 8, 9 and 10 is targeted to reposition officers in view of their club goals, project execution, membership invitation and Management.
The seminar flagged-off by the Rotary District 9141 Governor 2024-2025 ,Rotarian Chinedu Ikegwuani, seeks to reposition the officers in making sustainable progress in achieving Rotary focus through clear understanding of their various roles and responsibilities, taking advantage of the Rotary international website for available Benefits and opportunities.
The District Governor-elect ,Rotarian Chinedu Ikegwuani in his remarks said that the seminar is one of the efforts by the District to improve the growth of the clubs in the zones emphasizing the significance of training to their personal development.

equally revealed to the officers that Rotary international President-elect, Stephanie Urchick charge club officers to unlock the magic of Rotary through completion of every single project as well as positioning themselves as prime movers.
The co-ordinator of the club officers training seminar Rotarian Mfon Otite-Douglas while encouraging the officers to make visible their goals and programme by taking advantage of the my Rotary website,noted that Rotarians should take realistic goals and projects and begin applications for global grants currently available through the Rotary site.
Other learning facilitators including AGD Tobore Ojigho,ADG Reginald Patrick Nnoshiri and AGD Irene Ebuoh spoke on several issues including presentation of presidential citation and district project and programme emphasis, roles and responsibilities of board of directors and new members orientation.
Other Facilitators include PAG Clement Aboderin,AG Lawrence Nwadiogbu,AGD Michael Enehizena,AG Wilson Kokarhaye and PAG Maria Edirin-Niemogha spoke on topics such as practical on technology,navigation on My Rotary , Building an Effective club ,maintaining minimum standards of Rotary Club as well as conversations on Ways to strengthen Rotary Club in the District.
The seminar also featured insurance the benefits of group insurance by Rtn Benjamin Usiora
Some Participants including Rtn Lawrence Uzorchukwu, Rtn Nkechi Kamalu,Rtn Aloba Akpevwe and Rtn Daniel Oji appreciated Rotary International as well as the District for another opportunity to learn more about Rotary and their individual roles and responsibilities as club officers
The District club officers training seminar took place simultaneously across the various states that make up the District including Edo, Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta.
