The President of Rotary Club Warri Central Rotorian ( Prince ) Obadaejire has been commended for execution of 3 projects in Warri South and Uvwie Local Government Areas less than 3 months after he was installed as president of the club.
The biological son of the late Orosuen of Okere Urhobo Kingdom HRM Benjamin Okumagba, Okumagba 1 ( of blessed memory ) donated gas cylinders with oxygen to General Hospital Ekpan Uvwie Local Government Area, school bags to pupils of Elderstown Special ( physical challenged )School , Warri and commissioned borehole / mono pump in Olodi October School, Warri on
Wednesday 19th October, 2023.
The Assistant Governor of Rotary Club Zone 12 , Rotorian Lawrence Nwadiogbu gave kudos to Rotarian Obadaejire Okumagba for achieving the feats as he proudly noted that the Okere Urhobo prince has shown capacity and competence as the president of Rotary Club Warri Central . “He has been marvelous since he came on board. I am really proud of him.” he stated.
The Zonal Medical Director , General Hospital Ekpan Uvwie Local Government Area, Dr Lucky C Inege also appreciated and commended the President of Rotary Club Warri Central for the donation of the the gas cylinders with oxygen as he noted that they will be useful mostly at time of emergency.
While the Head Teacher of the school of the physical challenged pupils, Rita Ugbameta also appreciated Prince Okumagba for the donation of school bags as she noted that the gesture bring financial relief to parents of the pupils.
The Assistant Head Teacher of Olodi Primary School, Warri Mrs Flora Egwari was also full of appreciation for Chief Obada Okumagba as she noted that the pupils of the school would now drink portable water without going outside the school premises.
The Project Chairman Rotary Club Warri Central Rotarian Uwagbai Isioma, Rotorian Cletus Zokumor, Rotarian Joy London and other distinguished Rotarians who spoke to our correspondent also gave Chief Obadaejire Okumagba a pat on the back for the successful execution of the humanitarian projects.
An elated Chief Obada Okumagba expressed gratitude to God for the huge success of the three in one event just as he appreciated members and friends of the international humanitarian club who supported him in the execution of the projects.
While stating that Rotary Club was saddled with the responsibilities of maintenance of projects executed, he however charged beneficiaries on the maintenance of the projects he executed and also make good use of them .
Okumagba used the opportunity to call on other philanthropic organisations and governments to partner with the Rotary Club in carrying out humanitarian services.
