Rotary Club of Warri Central, District 9141, on Thursday donated medical equipment to Warri Central Hospital Warri South local government area of Delta State.
President, Rotary Club of Warri Central,Rotarian Isioma Uwagbai noted that the donation was made as part of the club’s Saving Mothers and Children project.
While donating the medical equipment to Central Hospital Warri which includes 2 suction machine ,2 Children weighing scale ,2 Fetal Doppler, 2 omron BP machine and 2 Ambu bag.the President of the Rotary Club of Warri Central, Rotarian Uwagbai said the gesture was in line with Rotary’s Maternal and Child healthcare which is one of Rotary international Seven areas of focus
Rotarian Uwagbai noted that equipping the hospital with essential medical equipment helps aid the hospital in offering quality healthcare to patient .
The President of the Rotary Club of Warri Central stated that they were optimistic that the donation would meet some of the needs of the patients, adding that they would do more to assist women and children in their core areas.
Responding, Dr. Clement Vhriterhire, Dr. Olive Oghelle, and Matron Miebi Prekebena expressed their appreciation for the generous contribution by the Rotary Club of Warri Central as they pledged the hospital’s commitment to ensuring effective use of the equipment.
