Rotary Club of Ubeji, District 9141 now has a new President, he is
Rotarian Daniel Edemayibo .
The investiture ceremony of Rotarian Edemayibo was held at Chevron Recreation centre warri on Saturday August 19,2023
The installation of Rotarian Edemayibo as president of Rotary club of Ubeji was a gathering that attracted notable personality including Rotarians from sister clubs as well as friends of Rotary club.
The occasion was a smooth transition from the immediate Past President Rotarian Orode Hesse even as the course of the Rotary international over decades has shown leadership across all front especially as it concerns global response to health needs of humanity most especially in the eradication of poliomyelitis.
Vice chairman of the installation committee, Rotarian Emmanuel Etsano in his welcome address noted that Rotary Club of Ubeji has been firm in its activities towards giving back to society as well as promotion of friendship.
Rotarian Etsano added that the Rotary International have continued to be partners of progress and transforming lives positively even as he called on friends of the club to continue to support the activities and programme of the Rotary club of Ubeji.
On her part out going President of the Rotary Club of Ubeji ,Rtn Orode Hesse however appreciated members of her exco for their support during her Tenure as President , saying that so much had been achieved in terms of Projects executed.
While congratulating the newly installed President Rotarian Daniel Edemayibo, She expressed optimism that the club Will flourish under him.
Also speaking during the investiture Assistant District Governor ,Rotarian Clem Douglas who congratulated the newly installed President admonished him to listen and carry his team along in order to achieve more during his time.
Newly installed President of Rotary Club of Ubeji , Rotarian Daniel Edemayibo thanked the club for the opportunity to serve as President .
Reflecting on the theme of Rotary international which is tagged create hope in the world, Rotarian Edemayibo admonished Rotarians and friends present at the ceremony that it can be possible when all and sundry open their heart to those In need .
He however call for support for the club’s projects and activities for the 2023/2024 Rotary year which sits at the tune of 11 Million Naira.
He disclosed that Some of the project will include revamping of the Ifie health center maternity ward, upgrade of the Ubeji Grammar School physics and chemistry laboratory amongst other projects and programmes that reflects Rotary club seven areas of focus.
High point was the investiture of Rotarian Daniel Edemayibo as President ,awards presentation to distinguished humanitarians and unveiling of the Board of Director as well as induction of a new member into the Club
