Nigeria Rotarians especially those from Rotary Club District 9141 have been described as good Ambassadors of Nigeria .
The District Governor ,Rotary Club District 9102 DG Victor Yaw Asante made the statement at the Bussiness Networking Session held at the Civil Service Training Centre, Cantonment, Accra Ghana during the Ghana -Nigeria Exchange fellowship .
The District Governor noted that the Ghana – Nigeria Exchange Fellowship is an opportunity for Rotarians from both Countries to fellowship together and enter into partnership with the aim of embarking on charity projects as well as share Bussiness ideas .
DG Victor Asante commended Rotarians from Delta State Nigeria, for their resolution to extend their hands of fellowship with Rotarians in Ghana.
He acknowledged that Nigeria Rotarians and more vibrant than the Ghanaians Rotarians ,urging Members of Rotary club District 9141 to attend District 9102 conference coming up soon in Accra Ghana .
He disclosed that District 9102 will soon split to become Districts 9103 and 9104 as Ghana will now have its own districts breaking out from Togo, Republic of Benin and other neighbouring countries .
” We have many things in common as Nigerians and Ghanaians , you people are our Big cousins and we look forward to partner with Rotarians in District 9141 , many thanks to your DG Rtn Mightyman Dikoru for approving your exchange fellowship” .He said .
During the Bussiness Networking Session , one of the Assistant District Governors Designate, Rotary club District 9141
ADG Lawrence Nwadiogbu who spoke on the topic Rotary and Petroleum Industry said there are so much to gain as Rotarians from the Petroleum and Gas Industries through partnership .
He challenged Rotarians from Ghana and Nigeria to take advantage of the Petroleum and Gas industries inorder to partner with it to deliver it’s corporate social Responsibilities which is also inline with Rotary 7 Areas of Focus .
Other Resource persons who spoke during the Bussiness Networking Session are Harrison Ahorgbah and Yaw Soma on the topics Building Strategic Partnership and Change ; Be the difference highlighted the importance of Strategic partnership between Rotary clubs and other Organisations as well as creating positive changes .
Earlier members of Rotary club District 9102 were accompanied by Rotarians from District 9141 to present food and other Items to inmates of South Labone Girls training vocational institute , Department of social welfare , Accra .
Items donated includes toiletries , bags of rice and amongst others .

Rotary clubs in Ghana that participated in the exchange fellowship are Rotary clubs of Accra Ridge , sunrise , industrial , premier and Tema community 25.
While that of Rotary club District 9141 includes Rotary clubs of Edjeba , Ogunu , Ubeji, plantation city, Effurun Gateway and Effurun centre .
The Nigeria -Ghana Exchange fellowship featured Meet and Greet , Bussiness Networking and Zen Garden Night out .
