A member of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Okumagba 11 , Ward 12 Warri South Local Government Area, Chief Eruteyan Okumagba has asserted that Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori has made Urhobo ethnic nationality proud during the recent hosting of PDP governors in Delta State.
The biological son of former Orosuen ( traditional ruler ) of Okere Urhobo Kingdom, HRM Benjamin Okumagba, Okumagba 11 made the assertion in an exclusive media chat with our correspondent in Warri last weekend.
He substantiated his claim with dressing of Governor Oborevwori and PDP governors in Urhobo traditional attires during the hosting.
” His Excellency Rt Hon ( Elder) Sheriff Francis Oborevwori the governor of Delta State, displayed a true sense of Urhobo cultural when he dressed in an Urhobo traditional attire and also influenced his colleagues from other parts of the country to do same .
” I was personally proud of Governor Oborevwori when I saw him and PDP governors from other states of the country dressed in Urhobo traditional attires in Government House Asaba .
” He is a true patriotic son of Urhobo Nation.”
” He surely deserves the exalted Urhobo National chieftaincy title of ‘ Omorotomo ‘ of Urhobo Nation conferred on by Urhobo Progress Union ( UPU) Worldwide.” Chief Eruteyan Okumagba added.
