HRM Ogheneochuko Morris Eyekpimi Eyekpimi – Gboboyen Owhotemu II the Orosuen of Okere Urhobo Kingdom has commended Deacon Ejiro Ibuakevwe for contesting for the Warri South Local Government Council chairmanship seat.
The traditional ruler made the commendation during the consultation visit of Ibuakevwe who is gunning for the number one political seat in Warri South Local Government Area under the Delta State ruling political party of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday 29th January, 2024.
The Okere Urhobo monarch also lauded Deacon Ibuakevwe who is the Oghwuvwie ( President)of Agbarha Warri community of Edjeba for his manifestos.
The Orosuen of Okere Urhobo Kingdom however advised Deacon Ibuakevwe to reach out to other indigenous ethnic groups in the local government area for their support just as he said that it is God that gives power . ” Our duty as traditional ruler is to offer prayers ” he added.
The traditional ruler had commended Deacon Ibuakevwe for the visit.
The PDP Warri South Local Government Council chairmanship aspirant had earlier among other things in his address disclosed that his manifestos were tailored towards the MORE agenda of Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori just as he promised to work for the development of the entire local government area if voted as chairman of Warri South Local Government Council and that he will operate an all inclusive administration where all the Warri South indigenous ethnic groups will be carried along.
High point of the event was a special prayer said by the Okere Urhobo monarch for Deacon Ejiro Ibuakevwe.
The Otota of Okere Urhobo Kingdom High Chief (retire Brigadier General) Gold Eburu was present during the visit.
