The Representative of Delta State in the National Population Commission ( NPC ) Sir ( Chief )Richard Odibo has bagged the Association of Justices of The Peace merit Award for excellence.
The Award was given to him by the Association in an impressive ceremony at his Ekpan Uvwie Local Government Area residence on Tuesday 11th October, 2022.
The President of the association ,
Chief( Sir ) Sam Odjoji in his brief speech shortly before presenting the Award, explained that the NPC commissioner was given the meritorious award in Recognition of his immense contribution to peace and development in the society.
Other members of the Association including the Director of NPC , Delta State Patrick Lotobi also extolled the virtues of Sir ( Chief ) Richard Odibo.
Mr Lotobi remarked that Sir Odibo is a blessing to Delta State
He stated that Sir Odibo truly deserved to be so honoured by the prestigious group.
In his response, Sir Odibo expressed appreciation to the Association for the award.
He vowed that the award will spur him to do more for humanity.
Odibo recalled that during the Enumeration Area Demarcation ( EAD) exercise in Delta State ,a lot of young persons across the state were recruited under his watch.
He also gladly informed that he had established a foundation that will remove a lot of youths from the street.
It would be recalled that Sir (Chief )Richard Odibo was given a similar award of excellence by Afrikan Watch Network Communication at Meritorium Event Centre, Ebrumede , Uvwie Local Government Area on 8th October 2022.
