The Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon (Elder) Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, has assured Deltans of completion of the N78 Billion flyovers,cloverleaf and pedestrian Bridges project in Warri and Effurun local Government area of Delta State .
Governor Oborevwori who was speaking while performing the ground breaking of N78 Billion projects at Effurun ,Uvwie local Government araess of Delta state disclosed that the project awarded to construction giant ,Julius Berger Nigeria Plc would be completed in 25 months .
He also assured the company of proper funding inorder for the projects to be completed at the set time .
The Delta State Governor said the flag off ceremony of the projects is in fulfillment of his electioneering campaign to Deltans .
He further disclosed that 25 percent of the N78 Billion has been paid to Julius Berger to commence work .
Governor Oborevwori added that the projects are design and construction of flyover bridge from Enerhen junction to marine Gate in Uvwie and warri South local government Areas , design and construction of roads expansion and improvement of the section of DSC roundabout NPA expressway from Effurun to DSC roundabout , including construction of three quarter cloverleaf interchange from the existing Effurun flyover bridge as well as two pedestrian Bridges in Effurun , Uvwie local Government Area , Design and construction of Flyover bridges at PTI junction .

Governor Oborevwori stated that the cumulative contract sum for the four projects will cost seventy-seven Billion nine hundred and ninety-seven Million , one hundred and fifty nine thousand , three hundred and thirty- nine naira, thirty one Kobo only .
The managing Director of Julius Berger Dr Lars Richter thanked the Delta state Governor for awarding the flyovers and road expansion projects to the company assuring that they would do their best to complete the projects at the scheduled time .
Also speaking HRM Dr Emmanuel Sideso ,JP , OON , ABE I, the Ovie Of Uvwie kingdom commended the state Governor for initiating the projects and assured the Governor that the people of Uvwie kingdom would provide the enabling environment for the projects to be completed .
Also speaking the Olu of Warri ,Ogiame Atuwatse III who was represented by chief Roland Oritsejafor also commended the Governor for the projects .
For their parts chairmen of Uvwie And Warri South local governments , Hon Rampson Onoyake and Dr Michael Tidi also assured the state Government of the cooperation of the people of Warri and Effurun in ensuing that the projects are successfully completed .
