The Ward Leader of All Progressive Congress (APC) Edjeba Ward, Warri South Local Government Area, Hon Marcus Akuruli has remarked that the APC member representing Warri South Constituency 11 at the Delta State House of Assembly, Chief ( Hon ) Benson Obire was a renewed hope for the people of the constituency and indeed Urhobos of Warri.
The Edjeba Agbarha Warri born youth activist made the remark in a media chat with our correspondent shortly after the inauguration of the Agbarha Warri high chief was inaugurated as member of the state house of assembly in Asaba on Tuesday 13th June , 2023 .
Akuruli explained that the new lawmaker who was a former youth leader of Agbarha Warri Kingdom was born and brought up in the constituency ” he is patriotic to the Warri Urhobo course ; he knows the yearnings and aspirations of the people of the constituency and indeed Urhobos of Warri.
” He is loved by the Itsekiris and non indigenes in the constituency.
” I can safely say that we got it right this time around ” he added.
Akuruli a leader of APC in Warri South Local Government Area however solicited for support and cooperation of the people of the constituency and indeed Urhobos of Warri for Chief Obire inrespective of party affiliation to enable him deliver the devidends of democracy to them
