Rev. Friday Ererene, a priest with Triumphant Anglican Church at Ovonomo in Warri, has asserted that obeying divine instructions attracts blessings from God.
The clergyman stated this at St Stephen’s Anglican Church, during the concluding annual event of Effurun West Archdeaconry Pastoral Week programme.
He opined that “people encounter difficulties in life because they failed to obey God’s instructions,” adding that “misinterpretation of God’s purpose for our life becomes inevitable when we act to be wise.”
Speaking on the theme, ” the God of abundance”, Rev. Ererene explained that “you cannot experience abundance when you have not encountered divinity.”
Continuing, the priest decried how many Christians, especially some youths, had deviated from the path of God in search of abundance and got themselves entangled with ungodly materialism and evil spiritualism.
While noting that spiritualism is in two folds, Godly and satanic, with both bringing abundance, he explained that God’s abundance is with peace while that of the satan is with animosity and enslavement of soul.
” If you are for God, declare yourself for Him with total obedience to His instructions, as it guarantees your access to His abundance,” he said.
