President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Joe Ajaero
is scheduled to travel abroad for medical attention.
Comrade Joe Ajaero, appears to have sustained more severe injuries than initially thought.
Recalled that the NLC president’s planned protest rally in Owerri was turned violent after thugs attacked protesters and labor leaders, allegedly violating workers’ rights.
Actual News recall that the labour leader was detained in Imo state on Wednesday which led to injuries on his face.
On Wednesday, November 1, the NLC president travelled to Owerri to organise Imo workers for a protest rally in the state over an alleged infringement and misuse of workers’ rights and privileges by the state government.
