The World leader of Christ Gospel Church of Christ, Rev Sunday Odin has stated that it is only in Jesus Christ mankind can find real peace and rest.
This was contained in his sermon titled ‘ Finish Strong and Start Well ‘ during the end of year thanksgiving service of the prestigious Agbarha Warri League at the branch of the church in Otovwodo Agbassa Community in Warri South Local Government Area on Sunday 11th December, 2022
He admonished Christians to finish the year 2022 strongly and start the year 2023 well .
In doing this, Rev Odin advised Christians to dedicate their lives to Jesus Christ and pray fervently to God against misfortunes.
He warned that end of every year was always a crucial time.
” We need to finish strong and start well next year.
” You shape the way you want your life to go with prayers to God.
” Till tomorrow God still answers prayers . Having prayed , you shall over come your problems ” he added.
Rev Odin however admonished that God answers prayers .
” If you seek Him , He will not put you to shame.
” If God does not save you, you cannot be saved ” he stated.
The world leader of Christ Gospel Church of God had earlier praised the formost socio cultural Agbarha Warri association for choosing the house of God to thank God rather than elsewhere.
He was appreciative to the Agbarha Warri community of Otovwodo (Agbassa) for hosting the hosting the church for over five decades free of charge.
The President of Agbarha Warri League, Hon Fuludu Edema ( MON) had in his brief speech explained that it was the decision of the prestigious association to thank God at the end of each year in the house of God in order for Agbarha Warri kingdom and the association to move forward.
High points of the event were special annointing of those in church by Rev Odin and thanksgiving by Agbarha Warri League.
