In a momentous ceremony at the Greater Evangelism World Crusade International Headquarters in Rukpokwo, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, His Royal Highness, King (Dr) Famous S. Eseduwothe Amananaowei of Angalabiri Federated Communities in Sagbama LGA of Bayelsa State, alongside his wife, Queen Lucky-ere Eseduwo, were elevated to the esteemed position of Elders within the church.
In the Ordination teachings delivered by the International Director, Pastor Isaac Olori said, Ministers and Elders were exhorted to embody honour and integrity in the service of God and society. This charge emphasized the profound responsibility that comes with such a sacred calling.
Stating further on the significant milestone, Pastor Isaac Olori highlighted the importance of traditional rulers and their spouses assuming roles as Elders within the church. He emphasized that this elevation not only acknowledges their position and influence in their community but also signifies a deep commitment to uphold spiritual values and principles.
His Royal Highness King Dr Famous Eseduwo, alongside Queen Lucky-ere Eseduwo, expressed humility and a sense of duty towards their newly bestowed roles as Elders. The recipients underscored the immense responsibility entrusted to them and pledged to carry out their duties with grace, dignity, and a profound dedication to the service of both God and their community.
The newly ordained Elders who were vicibly happy expressed profound gratitude and reflected on the consecration as akin to a second salvation. They vowed to dedicate themselves to serving God and humankind with unwavering honesty, sincerity, and selflessness, regardless of their location or circumstances.
