Executive chairman of Uvwie Local Government, Chief Anthony Ofon has stated that Atata Ultra Modern Market project would be completed in 12 months
Chief Ofoni stated this on Monday at the groundbreaking ceremony of Atata Modern Market, Okuatata in Uvwie local government area of Delta State .
He expressed happiness for the 4th groundbreaking of projects in the Council area since the inception of his administration.
The Uvwie council Boss revealed that he follows the steps of the governor of Delta State Hon Sheriff Oborevwori in executing visible projects that will impact directly on the lives of the Uvwie people.
” The people of Okuatata came to me that they need market in their community,so we quickly embark on the project especially as they gave us the portion of land to construct the market” He disclosed.

The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Kelly Penawou, commended the Uwvie council boss for his continuous efforts in response to the demands of his people.
He urged the people of Okuatata to give their full support to his administration.
The chairman of the Delta State Internal Revenue Service, Hon Solomon Ighrakpata, expressed optimism that such laudable projects will attract development both from within and outside the community.
The Chairman of Warri Uvwie and Environs Development Agency WUEDA Prince Godwin Ejinyere commended the Ultra Modern Market project and pledged full support to compliment the Uvwie council chairman’s efforts.
The Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom Abe the first, prayed for the state governor and the local Uvwie Local government chairman for more health and strength to pilot the affairs of the state and Uvwie local government.
Some chiefs from the kingdom including the President General of Uvwie Kingdom, Chief Hope Erute, Chief Roy Oke as well as the president general of Ugbomro Community Hon Ese Winfrey and the Executive women leader of Okuatata community Mrs Joy Onadowa thanked and appreciated the Uvwie council chairman for starting a project that positively impact the lives of the Uvwie people.
The Atata Ultra Modern Market Okuatata Uvwie being constructed by Crystalix Integrated Service, when completed, will be made up of I20 lockup shops, 80 open Stores, Market offices, a Coldroom, an Abattoir, Toilets, Borehole tanks, spacious car park, drainages, solar street lights and a control post.
The ceremony was attended by the vice chairman uvwie local Government council Hon Andrew AGAGBO, HPM Mrs Julian Manager, SLG Mr Graham Osakwe, Leader and Honourable members of uvwie Legislative arm,PDP chairman Uvwie local government area, Elder Efe Okoledo amongst others
