Delta State Governor,Rt hon Sheriff Oborevwori has restated his commitment in ensuring the protection of lives and property.
Governor Oborevwori was speaking during the inauguration of the newly built Ugborikoko Police Station courtesy Tantita security service Nigeria LTD.
Correspondent Reports that the inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun was represented by the Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 5 AIG Salman-Dogo Garba.
The people of Ugborikoko community came out in their numbers to witness the inauguration of the newly built Ugborikoko Modern Police Station with the state of the art facilities which included reconstruction of police hall,
two hilux vehicles for operational mobility, 30KVA soundproof generator and a 30KVA solar system to ensure uninterrupted power supply, CCTV cameras and computer systems to enhance surveillance and digital operations, television sets, air-conditioning units, fully equipped conference room and interrogation room.
Governor Sheriff oborevwori stated that the newly built Ogborikoko police station with state of the art equipment and two vehicles attached to it by Tantita Security service Nigeria limited is in line with his MORE Agenda .
Governor Oborevwori while thanking Tantita Security and other security Agencies in the state for their role in sustaining peace in the state ,noted that the state is making progress in the fight against kidnapping and other violent crimes .
The Governor who was represented by the secretary to the state government Dr Kingsley Emu assured Deltans and residents of the State of his administration’s commitment to security, acknowledging that the challenges were enormous but surmountable.

The state Governor advised the policemen at Ugborikoko police station to protect and maintain the equipment and vehicles.
For his part the Inspector general of Police Mr Kayode Egbetokun thanked Tantita security services ,High Chief Government Ekpemupolo and the Managing Director, Chief Keston Pondi for building and equipping the new station project possible.

The IGP who was represented by AIG in charge of zone 5 AIG Salman-Dogo Garba while commissioning the newly built Police station noted that the donation also reflect not only a commitment to the well being of the community but also a deep trust in the role the police force plays in maintaining peace, law and order.
The IGP assured all that the new police station is not just a place where officers will work but also a place where the people can engage positively with the Police, and work together to build a safer and stronger community.
Earlier the Divisional Police Officer Ugborikoko Division Mrs Temi Zuokuomor said the new Ugborikoko Police Station is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed to improve their operational efficiency and enhance the capabilities of the officers and men of the station.
She added that they are now better positioned to serve the citizens of Uvwie and its environs.
The DPO Mrs Zuokuomo thanked Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd for their generous contributions in building the new police station.
The Managing Director of Tantita security services Nigeria LTD High Chief Kestin Pondi in his address stated that as a private security with local roots and global reach, Tantita Security understands that no society can thrive without peace and security, stressing that peace and security is a result of collaboration between the community and the government .
He revealed that Tantita security service decided to rebuild Ugborikoko Police station as a mark of the companies commitment to rebuild the peace in Uvwie and Warri South local government areas as well as improve the security of lives and properties for all residence in the area
The Ovie of Uvwie kingdom HRM Dr Emmanuel Sideso JP OON Abe I and the chairman Uvwie local government, Chief Anthony Ofoni as well as Chief MacDonald Igbewanku also thanked Tanitita security service for the gesture and for compliment the MORE Agenda of the Delta State Governor in the area of peace and security .
