The Unuovwodo ( tradititioal representative of Ovie of Agbarha Warri ) of Otovwodo ( Agbassa) Community, Warri South Local Government Area , High Chief Julius Tobore Edafiadjebre ( JP ) has hailed Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori over the ongoing works on street lights in Agbarha Warri communities of Otovwodo ( Agbassa) and Igbudu Warri / Sapele Road areas .( Robert Road Junction to Deco
Junction ).
The Agbarha Warri High chief made the commendation in an exclusive media chat with our correspondent on Monday 7th August, 2023.
He said that he was glad to see officials of Delta State Government working on the street lights in Hausa Quarters of Warri Sapale area .
Edafiadjebre who is also the chairman of Igbudu Unit 11 , a host community to Igbudu Market, Warri stressed that energizing street lights in the Agbarha Warri areas of Warri / Sapele Road has been the yearning of traders and residents.
He also reasoned that energizing the said street lights will boost the security of the areas.
Edafiadjebre further hailed Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori on the ongoing clearing of the canal at Lower Erejuwa by the brigde.
” This shows that he ( Governor Oborevwori ) is a listening governor ” he added.
Edafiadjebre however appealed that clearing of canal project should be extended to the canals in Igbudu Market, Lower Erejuwa (near Warri Garage ) Ogboru Street and Otovwodo ( Agbassa) by Bowen Avenue Brigde .
” If these canals are cleared , the problem of flooding will be a thing of the past in the places I mentioned ‘ he added .
It would be recalled that the President of Agbarha Warri League , Fuludu Edema (MON) has in a recent publication appealed to Governor Oborevwori on energizing the said street lights.
