Rotary International District 9141 will on Friday April 25th and 26th organize seminars to train in coming club leaders in order to equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to effectively fulfill their roles and contribute to Rotary’s mission.
The Rotary Club leaders from Baylesa,Edo and Rivers states will join their fellow leaders in Delta State to acquire more knowledge and leadership skills ahead of 2025/2026 Rotary year.
Speaking with Newsmen in Effurun,Uvwie local government area of Delta State the District Governor for 2025/2026 Rotary year , Rotarian Anthony Wogherien disclosed that the grants management and District learning Assembly seminars would be held at MBB event center Refinery road, Effurun begining at 9 am daily.

He advised President-elect, foundation chair, secretary treasurer and club learning facilitator to make themselves available and take advantage of the seminars to improve on their knowledge on Rotary as they prepare to take over leadership for the 2025/2026 Rotary year .
Rtn Wogherien added that every Rotary year starts July 1 and expects that the incoming Presidents and foundation chairs attend the grant management seminar for Friday April 25 so that they can know how to apply for District grants, global grants and other grants in order to carryout meaningful projects in their year .
He said District learning Assembly is for key officers who will be in charge of the running of the clubs for the year.
He said this year’s seminars are going to be more interesting and educative and asked all participants to take advantage of it and make the 2025/2026 Rotary year a wonderful experience.
