Delta State Chairman of Accord Party, Mr Fred Obi has congratulated former Governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa on his 64th Birthday Anniversary.
A statement signed by Mr Fred Obi described former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as a colosus who has written the name Delta State in gold.
He noted that, former Governor Okowa promoted peace, development, justice and equity while in power.
Mr Obi stressed that, Dr Okowa carried out massive infrastructural development across the state, empowered thousands of youths through his STEP and YAGEP schemes and his achievements in the health and education sectors are unequalled.
The peace we enjoyed throughout his eight years of dedication and service to the People of Delta was unparalleled.
His friendly disposition to opposition Political Parties led to the political Harmony we enjoyed throughout his tenure is unequal.
Mr Obi prayed God to grant Dr Okowa long life, good health and success in his future endeavours.
