The traffic lights at Airport Road by NNPC Ekpan Link Road Junction , Uvwie local Government area of Delta State have been malfunctioning for over 2 weeks at the time of filing this report.
Commuters were not happy about the state of the said traffic lights as those that spoke to our correspondent called for their immediate repairs.
One of them, the immediate past President of Okere Urhobo Development Movement , Comrade Cyril Eboh stated that the state of the traffic lights was too important to be ignored by the concerned authorities.
He noted that the said junction was a major link between Warri South and Uvwie Local Government Areas on both ways .

Similarly a commercial tricycle ( keke) rider, Emmanuel Osunde expressed disappointment over the delay in the repairs of the malfunctioning traffic lights.
He stated that it was by the grace of God that the malfunctioning traffic lights have not caused accident.
All the respondents called on the concerned authorities to effect repairs on the malfunctioning traffic lights without further delay.
