Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Council, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike , has emphasized the need for collaborative efforts among security agencies to effectively address the multifaceted security challenges facing the nation.
He commended the Nigerian Army’s resilience and commitment to upholding national unity and protecting lives and properties.

Chukwunwike reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Army, citing the strategic deployment of Lt. Col. La Balogun, Garrison Commander of the 63 Brigade, as a pivotal step in enhancing security strategies in Aniocha South and Delta State.
He encouraged Lt. Col. Balogun to intensify efforts to root out criminal elements, saying, “You are a lion that will help devour the criminals taking away our peace and sleep, go ahead and smoke them out in their hideouts.”

For his part Lt. Col. Balogun commended the council chairman for his support and informing him of a proposed military operations in the area.
The meeting culminated in the presentation of a plaque symbolizing the council chairman’s proactive stance on security matters, attended by key council officials including the vice chairman,Hon.Ms Ekwutozam Patricia Adolue and the local government council scribe,Hon. Prince Tony K Ebube and the captain in charge of Aniocha South, Am musa.
