Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government,Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike ,has felicitated the Muslim community in Aniocha South and beyond on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, urging them to uphold the sacred teachings of the Holy Prophet.
In a goodwill message, Pastor Chukwunwike said, “Eid Mubarak to our Muslim brothers and sisters in Aniocha South! As we celebrate the culmination of Ramadan, a month of fasting, reflection, and spiritual renewal, I offer warmest congratulations to our Muslim community on this joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.”
He emphasized that this sacred festival embodies the values of faith, perseverance, and compassion that Islam represents, and encouraged the community to uphold these values while promoting unity, love and kindness.
Pastor Chukwunwike expressed his deep appreciation for the significant contributions of the Muslim community to foster the rich cultural tapestry of Aniocha South, highlighting their commitment to peace, tolerance, and understanding as a shining example to all.
He reiterated his administration’s unflinching commitment to building a more harmonious, peaceful and inclusive society, where everyone can thrive and reach their full potential irrespective of creed.
On behalf of his family, the Government and people of Aniocha South, he wished the Muslim community a joyous and peaceful Eid-el-Fitr celebration, saying “May Allah bless you with happiness, prosperity and continued guidance.”
