…. Endorses Oborevwori for 2027

In a well-attended youth meeting at the Chairman’s Lodge, Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Council Executive chairman, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, has urged the Progressive Anioma Youth Association to prioritize their future and demand leaders who will add value to their lives.
Addressing the socio-political youth association on a thank you visit on his re-election victory, the council boss pledged to drive initiatives that will impact citizens, particularly those with artisanal skills, towards self-sustenance, noting that his 2025 budget, christened “Budget of Empowerment” when passed into law, will address most challenges of the youth.
Pastor Chukwunwike used the occasion to rally support for the re-election of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori in 2027, noting that the governor’s strides are credible testament to guarantee his return to power till 2031.
Earlier, Chief Amb. Mayor Enujeko, a former National Youth Council of Nigeria president and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Mobilization, commended the chairman’s impressive leadership, emphasizing the importance of collaborative partnership to accommodate youths in government programmes.
In a goodwill message, the association’s secretary-general, Comrade Christopher Odhomo, stressed the need for youth empowerment, wealth creation, and sustainable programmes, while promoting Anioma socio-cultural identity towards greater national recognition.
Highlights of the event included a confidence vote passed on Governor Oborevwori and Chukwunwike with the formal endorsement and adoption of Oborevwori as the candidate for 2027 general election by the association.
The occasion was attended by government functionaries, including the vice chairman, Hon. Ms Patricia Adolue Ekwutoziam, and local government council scribe, Hon. Prince Tony Ebube among others.·
