Chairman of Aniocha South local government,Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike has pledged to collaborate with the new Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ogwashi Uku, Mr. Israel Okomoyon, to tackle insecurity in the area. He emphasized the need for a united front to stamp out criminal activities and ensure the safety of residents.
Chukwunwike expressed optimism that with the new DPO’s leadership, security will be bolstered, and the communities will experience a significant reduction in crime.

He assured that his administration will continue to work closely with the Police to implement effective security strategies and restore peace to the communities in the council.
The council boss declared this today, Tuesday, while receiving the newly posted DPO and his entourage at the conference room in Ogwashi-Uku.
Earlier, the new DPO, Mr Israel Okomoyon said, the purpose of his visit, is to familiarize himself with the chief security officer of the local government and seek his support to enable him diligently discharge his professional duties.
The council vice chairman, Hon. Ms Ekwutozam Patricia Adolue and the local government council scribe, Hon. Prince Tony K Ebube were in attendance.
