In recognition of his transformative vision and commitment to improving education in Aniocha South Local Government Area and his people-centered leadership, the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) has conferred a distinguished award of excellence on Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike
The honour on the Executive Chairman of the council is the latest in a series of awards bestowed on him by esteemed media organizations, corporate groups, and communities, underscoring his exemplary leadership and vision.
Represented at the occasion by Hon.Prince Tony K Ebube , Secretary to the Local Government, Chukwunwike expressed profound gratitude, noting that the award will motivate him to strive for even greater heights in line with his consolidatory vision and the MORE Agenda of the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
“This award is a testament to the power of collaborative leadership and hope for a brighter future. I am deeply humbled and inspired to continue working tirelessly for the betterment of our great community,” he remarked.
Earlier in an address, Mr. Patrick Isitua, who represented the state chairman of NUT, Mr. Titus Okotie, at the event, commended Chukwunwike for his unwavering commitment to education, praising his innovative strides and efforts to enhance the sector.
The event, a “Triple Celebration” of the conferment of awards, retirees’ send forth party, and posthumous awards to deceased educators, hosted by the convener, Mr. Alex Kentoa was attended by distinguished guests, including Dr. Jones Ofunne, Aniocha South Education Secretary, Mrs. A. M. Okwuenu and other political office holders.
