The President of Essi College Old Students Association World wide, Chief Sylvester Bighoro (JP) has bemoaned the delay of Chevron in commissioning projects it donated to Essi College Warri over three years ago.
This was contained in his 2025 goodwill message to members of the association.
He recalled that efforts of the association to call on Chevron to commission the projects were unsuccessful.
Bighoro also charged members to start and commission projects in the their alma mater and to initiate academic exercises among other things for school in the year 2025.
The respected Olomu chief had earlier chatted a course for the association in the year 2025 as he outlined the successes and challenges recorded in the year 2024 .
He called for a greater commitment of members of the association ‘ s objectives in the year 2025.
Bighoro however gladly reflected on the association ‘ s impact on its alma mater, noting some of its significant milestone goals in 2024 as the befitting burial organized for a former principal of Essi College Warri late Reverend Canon Ozakor.
He also highlighted the association ‘ s support for Essi College Football Team which reached the finals of Warri South Local Government Competition and its collaboration with the Rotech Foundation to provide solar power computer facilities and pipe borne water to the school.
