14 -man Executive Committee was presented to the ancient Okpe community of Oha in Okpe Local Government Area last weekend.
Those presented were : Ekugbere Ejoh , a lawyer ( Chairman ) , Ochuko Ikenyo ( Vice Chairman ); James Ogbogbo ( Secretary ) , Anthony Udoro ( Assistant Secretary ) , Anthony Ejobe ( Public Relations Officer) , Emmanuel Imonikeruvwe ( Welfare Officer ) and Francis Eyakware ( Treasurer ).
Others were : Sunday Onojebe ( Financial Secretary ), Kesiena Agbosa ( Coordinator ) Maxwell Okirikpo ( Ex official member ) Bernard Ogegire ( Senior Spokesman ) , Gabriel Ogbogbo ( 2nd Spokesman ) , Oyibo Erhue ( 3rd Spokesman ) and Michael Etafevaye ( 4th Spokesman ) .
The new Chairman of Oha Community Ekugbere Ejoh spoke to newsmen shortly after the presentation of the executive committee members of the community as he disclosed that unification of the people was foremost in his agenda.
He explained that unity of the people was necessary inorder to attract meaningful development to the area .
The legal icon also stressed the need to resucitate the moribund amenities in the community as well as Installation of new ones.
On his part, the new secretary of the community, James Ogbogbo who was the immediate past Chairman of the community, attested that he operated as a normal chairman during his tenure and that the executive committee of the community ( during his tenure ) was not there . ” But with the quality of members of the new executive committee, Oha Community will move forward ” he stated.
The Coordinator, Kesiena Agbosa in his contribution, noted that Oha Community was blessed with human resources as he expressed confidence that if the rich human resources are properly harnessed, the community will achieve her desire goals.
Agbosa who is the Chairman of Warri Rebirth Iniative had earlier disclosed that the executive committee members of Oha Community have been inaugurated and prayed for ” this event is a formal presentation of the new executive committee members to indigenes of the community ” he added.
The historic event also witnessed the introduction of a 18 man vigilante committee of Oha Community with Okan Onajite as commander and Sunday Ikedje as chairman.
The Oghwuvwie of Igbudu Community in Warri South Local Government Area Comrade Stanley Onoriode Agbosa was among eminent personalities spotted at the event.
