Rotary Club of Edjeba ,District 9141 on Thursday organised Career Talk and Spelling Bee Competition for students of Edjeba Secondary school,Edjeba in Warri South local government Area of Delta state.
The campaign which was led by the President Rotary club of Edjeba Rotarian Sunny Oveisi was in fulfilment of Rotary international month of Basic Education and literacy.
Actual News Reports that It was a keen contest amongst the students of Edjeba secondary school who battled to be crowned winner of the spelling bee competition, organised by Rotary club of Edjeba .
After a long mentally tasking exercise by the students, master Divine Andrew emerged winner of the competition with Ebiboh Emmanuel and Sonia Sunday occupying second and third place. respective.
According to the President of the Rotary club of Edjeba, Rotarian Sunny Oveisi the event by the club was in line with the month of basic Education and literacy in Rotary that seeks to provide adequate awareness on the part of the students to make informed choices in their careers and also heighten public enlightenment on the need for quality education.
Rotarian Oveisi advised the students to take their studies seriously and seek for professional advice in their choice of career .
Guest lecturer, Rtn Nosike Ezebo earlier told the students to seek professional advice in their future endeavors noting that they must posses an act of excellence in what ever is placed in their hands to do.
He added that education remains the tool to eliminate poverty in the society urging them to disabuse their mind from the notion that education is a scam.
Assistant Governor,Zone 13 District 9141 , Rotarian Klem Douglas and Assistant Governor Zone 12 Rotarian Lawrence Nwadiogbu admonished the students to hold fast to their education and continue to hope for better days in their lives.

Mrs Abeji Mayuku and other management staff of the school appreciated Rotary club of Edjeba for organizing the career talk and Spelling Bee programme saying it had gone a long way to compliment their Efforts in impacting knowledge on the students .
The winner master Divine Andrew however walked away with fifty thousand Naira while Ebiboh Emmanuel and miss Sonia Sunday got thirty thousand and twenty thousand Naira respectively.
