A pastor of New Glory Revival church Ebrumede branch, in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta state, Mr Asowata, has been ill-treated for Allegedly sleeping with a married church member.
The woman, Mrs Anufar Patience, who is the church choir mistress, while her children are instrumentalist in the church, confessed to the secretive affair, between herself and the pastor, after she became sick and started emaciating.
It was revealed that the woman, who is also a friend to the pastor’s wife, had gone to her village to carry out the necessary traditional rite of forgiveness and cleansing yet, her state of illness still persist.
While confirming the ungodly act, the pastor and father of four who is also married, explained that he had only slept with the woman twice in his house, usually after his wife had gone to the market.
Report further disclosed that the woman’s family have abandoned her for the pastor to treat, as her present health condition continue to degenerate.
